Water Sector Program Aid Phase II

Supporting the Balance of Payments in favour of the Vietnamese Ministry of Finance for the supply of equipment and machinery in the water sector.

Main activities:

Through the procurement of capital goods and commodities, mainly on the Vietnamese market, the programme contributes to and supports projects implemented by the local authorities in five Vietnamese provinces for the supply of drinking water.

Procurement is carried out through competitive bidding procedures with support of a Procurement Company (PCo). Quality and quantity control of procurement is managed by an international auditing company (ACo). Both the PCo and the ACo were selected by the Ministry of Finance through competitive bidding procedures.
